A flag football playbook generator
built around your actual roster.

KidFlag Plays finds flag football plays that fit your players' strengths. Mark who can pass, catch, and run — the generator filters its play library to match, so nothing on your call sheet depends on a skill your team doesn't have.

How the Generator Works

Every suggestion comes from the same three filters, applied in order.

1. Your Roster's Skills

You tag each player as a strong passer, good catcher, fast runner, or good defender. Plays that need a skill no one on your roster has are removed before you ever see them. If your team is still learning, harder plays are filtered out automatically.

2. Your League's Rules

You tell the generator what your league allows: blocking, laterals, quarterback runs, and motion. Anything your rules don't permit is excluded, so you're not left editing illegal plays out of your own playbook.

3. The Game Situation

Finally, you pick the situation — yards to go, field position, and how much risk you want to take. The generator ranks the remaining plays for that moment and explains why each one fits, in plain language.

Building a Playbook from Team Strengths

The generator works best when the skill tags reflect reality. A tag you're unsure about is better left unchecked — the generator won't suggest a play your roster can't support, but it also won't know what your team can do until you tell it.

Be honest about your quarterback. If no one is a strong passer yet, leave the tag off and the generator will lean on runs and short, easy completions instead of plays that assume an accurate arm.

Depth matters as much as star players. A play that requires a good catcher works when at least one player has that tag, so a deep roster of average catchers can support passing plays that a single-star roster cannot.

Update the tags as your players improve. When a receiver starts catching reliably in practice, tagging them unlocks plays the generator was previously holding back.

Good to Know

  • The generator recommends plays — you choose what to run. It doesn’t scout opponents or promise results.
  • Suggestions depend on the skill tags you enter, so an incomplete roster means incomplete suggestions.
  • The free plan supports 1 team with up to 8 players; paid plans support 5 teams with up to 15 players each.
